Privacy policy
In the event of any ambiguity among the Chinese, English and Korean versions, the Chinese version prevails.
ZhuangYu (zhuangyu.dpdns.org, referred to below as “the site”) takes your privacy seriously. This policy explains what we collect, how we use and protect it, and your rights. Using the site means that you agree to this policy.
1. Information we collect
Photos you upload: Used only to generate your try-on effects. Photos are transferred over an encrypted connection (HTTPS) and stored in Cloudflare cloud storage, then automatically and permanently deleted after 7 days. We do not use them for any other purpose, provide them to any third party, or use them to train any model.
Account information, if you register: your mobile number and password. Passwords are stored using one-way encryption and cannot be viewed in plaintext by anyone, including us.
Device identifier: a randomly generated identifier stored in your browser, used for credits and try-on records. It does not contain your name, contacts, location or other personal identity information.
Anonymous statistics: page visits and clicks are counted in anonymous aggregate form to improve the service.
2. Information we do not collect
- We do not use cookies to track your activity on other websites.
- We do not collect contacts, your photo library except for photos you actively select, location or device communication information.
- We do not connect third-party advertising trackers that require personal identity information.
3. How information is used
- Photos: Used only to generate the try-on effects you request.
- Mobile number, if registered: used only for account identification and recovery; no marketing messages are sent.
- Aggregated statistics: used to improve the product experience and plan capacity.
4. AI-generated effects
Try-on effects are generated by an AI model and are for entertainment and makeup-effect reference only; they do not represent the final result of real makeup. Do not use generated results for medical, cosmetic or commercial decisions.
5. Data storage and deletion
- Photos and generated results: Automatically deleted after 7 days of storage. You can also delete your account and all photos at any time with one click in the My Records account area; deletion takes effect immediately.
- Account and credit records: retained while the account remains active and deleted together when the account is closed.
6. Minors
The site is intended for adults. If you are under 14, use the site with a guardian and have your guardian agree to this policy.
7. Your rights
- Delete: delete photos, generated results or your whole account in the My Records account area at any time; account-password verification is required and deletion takes effect immediately.
- Access: after signing in, view credits, records and the scope of data used in My Records.
- Contact channel: the account area provides the deletion, access and feedback actions; this page does not provide a separate contact section.
8. Policy changes
Material changes will be announced on this page. Continuing to use the site means that you accept the updated policy.
